Syllabus

Introductory material to modern cryptography and related areas but covered at a graduate level, with mathematical rigor. The course will run 6 1/2 weeks for the 13 chapters of Welsh's book. Course runs June 16 until July 30. We will correspond using the university blackboard system. This course is limited to the motivated student who could profit from a self-study arrangement. Students are encouraged to collaborate on study of the text. I have an active interest in close study of this text and will be available by blackboard and email. Students enrolled who have not spoken with me, must do so immediately.
