Linear Regression
Linear regression is a method of fitting the "best" line
to data. If the data was already lined up, the line would
pass through all the data points. In the case where the
data is collected from an experiment, and errors are
introduced, the data points will not line up. We
calculate the line which passes most closely to all the
data points.
