Goals: This is a first course in computers and programming.

Homework and Grades:

1. There will be about eight programming assignments. They will count for 50% of the grade.
2. The midterm will count for 20% of the grade.
3. The final exam will count for 30% of the grade.

Laboratory: There is a weekly lab in the Indylab, Ungar room 426. The section hours are:

• T 8:50-10:40 AM (NX)
• R 1:00-2:50 (QY)
• F 12:00-1:50 (EZ)
