This is a workshop course to introduce Java Programming. Students should have some background in programming. The course will be held in the Indy Lab, a network of SGI WorkStations, in a workshop format of learning-by-doing. Grades will be based on four programming projects.

Our text is Exploring Java by Patrick Niemeyer and Joshua Peck.
