web-names-2008

General

As of June 2008, we have three machines servicing about two names, www.cs.miami.edu and web.cs.miami.edu. The www machine is the departmental server and is more restrictive. It serves the homepages of the department and some faculty. The web.cs.miami.edu hosts wiki's, blogs, student homepages and some faculty home pages. Jackson is legacy for php4 users. See diagram
